
Larry is a NYC based actor, vocalist, and tap dancer. Most notably, he stars as series regular “BIG RED” in the Disney+ original series, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES, executive produced by Tim Federle. In 2017, he appeared in a national commercial starring alongside comedian Hannibal Burress. Larry stars as Todd in the comedy/horror film PORNO, serving as a commentary and satire on the suppression of teens in modern culture, which premiered as a narrative feature at SXSW in 2019. He was also featured in the film FAN GIRL, starring Kiernan Shipka and Meg Ryan, and can be seen in the LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS sketch, Teen Slang.
Larry is an alumni member of the prestigious Tap City Youth Ensemble, and works with the American Tap Dance Foundation. He has met and worked with several influential tap dancers, such as the late Harold Cromer, Michelle Dorrance, Barbara Duffy, Brenda Bufalino, and many others. Larry has also trained extensively in dance at Alvin Ailey, Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company, and Broadway Dance Center. Larry is also a musician and vocalist, and has played the Electric Bass and Double Bass since he was 10 years old. He has a love for music theory and composition, and uses his knowledge of tap dance and rhythm to further explore the realm of musical development.
When Larry was just 10 years old, he appeared as Charley Bates in the John W. Engeman Theater’s production of OLIVER! and has been performing ever since! As a child, some of his favorite roles also included Tommy Mara Jr. in the West Coast tour of Miracle on 34th Street, and as a member of the Ensemble in Fiddler on the Roof (with famed actor Eddie Mekka of the sitcom Laverne and Shirley).
